Disability

The word disable means deprive of an ability or physically incapaciate. Whereas disability is a permanent physical or mental incapacity.

A disability may be physical, cognitive, mental, sensory, emotional developmental or some combination of these. Disability is a complex phenomena, reflecting an interaction between features of a persons's body and features of society in which he/she lives. Impairments may include sensory cognitive or developmental disability. Mental disorder are also known as psychiatric or psychosocial disability. A disability may occur during persons's lifetime or may be present from birth.
